Erasmus – Culture4kids ‘Beyond the Textbook’ in St Brigids Primary School
We are delighted to be involved in the Erasmus Plus Programme which is funded by the European Commission, running from 2018 – 2020. There are six countries involved; Ireland, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Italy and Portugal. It takes cultural heritage ‘beyond the textbook’ for students, teachers and community. The programme uses an eTwinning platform to connect via ICT. All teachers involved will travel between the countries over the two years and bring back cultural knowledge to the students. Students will learn by creating and engaging in cultural heritage of Ireland and the other countries in new and exciting ways.
We were delighted to welcome visiting teachers to St. Brigids this week. We engaged in fun activities and new learning. Thanks to all who made this possible.
