Biodiversity workshop

Fourth Class partaking in a biodiversity workshop

Learning about biodiversity

Mrs. Flynn’s Fourth were very lucky to partake in a biodiversity workshop today in the Old Courthouse in our town. The workshop was beautifully led by Julie, Annette, Jane and Tom. We learned about how everything in the world is interdependent and about how our choices have a knock on affect on our world. We learned about Europe and North America holding onto most of the world’s wealth despite not having a the majority of the world’s population, Our attention was brought to Pope Francis’ message of ‘Laudato Si’ and caring for our world. We finished our workshop with a walk to Grey Abbey and noticing the nature around us. It was a lovely workshop.
