October
This month passed in a flurry of activity culminating in our Halloween dress up day on the 23rd. We said goodbye to two of our teachers this month and we wish Ms. Berezhna and Ms. Healy all the best and are thankful for the time they spent in SBPS with us.
Maths Week
Lots of fun was had during Maths week where the children played games, buddied up, used technology, engaged in online zoom quizzes, worked problems out, got outside and generally applied maths to everyday situations and problems. Thank you to Ms. Keating and Ms. Coll for all their work in organising and coordinating these activities.
Projects
Ms. Barry’s class learned about Ancient China this month and completed projects on the topic. They also created clay monster pots. Ms. Tynan’s third class completed projects on the Stone Age.
Hallowe’en walk
Unfortunately the weather was not on our side in the morning for our Hallowe’en walk but the children and teachers had fun all day none the less.
