This month we joined with the 2nd classes and the 6th classes as they celebrated the sacraments of Communion and Confirmation. They were all wonderfully prepared and enjoyed their day. Thank you to the Parent’s Association for their contribution to the celebrations.

The 6th class also engaged in a community litter pick as part of their confirmation challenge to make the community a better place.

Plenty of seeds were planted this term too and the younger children especially are so excited to see how much growth has occurred over night. We are also keeping an eye on our school garden as the potatoes, cabbage and cauliflower continue to grow.

Pictures are adorning our walls as the children show their learning in an artistic manner.

We’ve had soccer blitzes and fun runs and ice creams in the sun. It was a wonderful month and we hope the sun comes back so that we can enjoy our last month before the summer holidays begin.

Congratulations to the Senior Boys team who came out victorious in the County Final against Caragh. Captained by Cormac Stynes, the boys were proud to bring the cup back to SBPS.
